

Eugeniu Rotari, MSc
Eugeniu Rotari is a researcher, inventor, and R&D engineer with a multidisciplinary background in chemistry, photonics, optics, measurement automation, sensors, electronics, software development, and human-machine interaction. He holds a Master of Science degree in Chemistry and has spent much of his career developing advanced measurement and instrumentation technologies.
His technical experience includes the development of measurement automation systems, ultra-narrow-band optical spectrometers, interferometric measurement techniques, holographic recording technologies, and high-efficiency volume Bragg gratings for optical and photonic applications. Throughout his work, he has contributed to projects involving precision sensing, optical instrumentation, data acquisition, and the integration of hardware and software systems for scientific and industrial applications.
Driven by a passion for innovation and problem-solving, Eugeniu's interests have expanded beyond traditional engineering into biomedical technology, digital health, ergonomics, proprioception, and cognitive performance. He believes that the next generation of healthcare technologies will emerge from the convergence of engineering, measurement science, human-centered design, and clinical insight.
Eugeniu is the founder of ViaTyping, a research initiative exploring proprioceptive typing, mindful interaction with digital devices, and new approaches to human-computer communication. His work on ViaTyping reflects a broader interest in how technology can enhance learning, focus, accessibility, and human performance.
In 2023, together with Dr. Niko Tchankoshvilli, he co-founded the Heart4Light Biomedical Innovation Lab to explore innovative healthcare technologies, including non-invasive monitoring systems, digital health solutions, ergonomic devices, and future biomedical innovations.
His long-term vision is to bridge the worlds of engineering and medicine by developing technologies that are both scientifically advanced and meaningfully beneficial to human well-being.
